Visit Our Free, Low Income Clinic

Access to affordable healthcare is critical for many people in the United States. According to recent data, approximately 28 million Americans are uninsured, and many more struggle to afford the high cost of medical care.

Mountain View Vital Medicine does not accept traditional health insurance as healthcare insurance providers tend to dictate what healthcare should entail. Yet we also recognize the urgent need to provide quality, naturopathic healthcare to those who cannot afford it.

We are committed to helping those in need by offering a free, low-income clinic on the first Monday of every month (unless it falls on a holiday).

What is The Low-Income Clinic at Mountain View Vital Medicine?

Here Are The Facts:

  • First Come, First Served

Our low-income clinic operates on a first-come, first-served basis. We do not schedule appointments, so it is essential to arrive early to ensure you can be seen by one of our providers. Our free clinic is open from 5:30 pm to 8 pm on the first Monday of every month, so arrive as early as possible to secure your spot.  You do have to call the office when you arrive to gain access to the building.

  • No Clinic Fees

At our low-income clinic, there are no clinic fees. We believe that everyone deserves access to quality healthcare, regardless of their ability to pay. However, to qualify for our free clinic, you will need to show your tax statement (not your pay stub) to confirm that you meet the income requirements.

  • Standard Visits ($90-600 Value)

During our low-income clinic, patients can expect to receive a standard visit, which typically costs $90-600. Dr. Kinley will assess your medical needs, provide treatment recommendations, and answer any questions you may have about your health.

  • Lab Work Covered by Medicaid

We understand that many patients may require lab work to be done. At our low-income clinic, lab work is covered by Medicaid, so you won't need to worry about any additional costs.

  • Medicare and Tricare Do Not Cover Naturopath Services

While our low-income clinic offers naturopathic services, it's important to note that Medicare and Tricare do not cover them. However, we can send patients to a primary care doctor to order lab work at no out-of-pocket cost.

  • Wednesday Evening Drop-In Injection Clinic

In addition to our low-income clinic, we offer a drop-in injection clinic on Wednesday evenings from 5 pm to 6 pm. This clinic is open to all patients and provides affordable access to important injections.

  • Food Intolerance Assessment Available

We also offer a food intolerance assessment for interested patients. Please note that this is not a test, and the cost for the assessment is $170.

  • Spinal Manipulation and Therapeutic Ultrasound Available

Our experienced provider can perform spinal manipulation and therapeutic ultrasound during your initial visit if needed. These treatments can be incredibly beneficial for patients who are experiencing pain or discomfort.

Do You Know Someone Who Could Benefit From Our Low-Income Clinic?

If you know someone who could benefit from our low-income clinic but may not be able to afford it, we offer the option to sponsor their treatment. By doing so, you can help someone in need to receive the care they deserve.
